What is Life Coaching?
The ICF (International Coach Federation) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
The singular most important goal of a coach is to assist the client in:
closing the gap between where they are and where they want to be.
However, more often than not, clients require some assistance in gaining clarity about their vision for their life or what they ultimately want to achieve. Once this is established, a coach will help set meaningful goals to achieve that vision. The role of a life coach is to help the client get from where they are to where they want to be much more rapidly by helping them overcome fear and self-doubt and to take inspired and strategic action.
What is a Mindset Coach?
Simply put, a mindset coach helps you become more aware of what you are doing, thinking and feeling.
Your inner life shapes your outer life. That means what’s going on for you internally (in your mind and body) has a direct impact on what becomes your reality. Your mindset is made up of the beliefs you hold about yourself and the world around you. And it’s these beliefs that influence every aspect of your personal and professional life. A mindset coach looks at your beliefs and determines if they are compatible with the person you want to be.
A Mindset Coach will help you:
- Remove incompatible beliefs that are holding you back
- Replace old beliefs with new empowering ones
- Provide tools, strategies and skills needed for sustainable change
- Re-train your brain for success
- Create a step-by-step action plan to move you towards your goals
- Provide support, accountability, mentoring and more
Our approach combines the work of leadership (Maxwell 2014), behavioural (Dimartini 2013), peak performance (Buchard 2017), personal development (Sharma 2010, 2015) , and Law of Attraction coaching (QSCA 2018) principles and methodologies to help clients achieve success in all areas of life.
As Einstein said:
We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them
So, while traditional life coaching can bring about positive change in the life of the client, without doing the important mindset and behavioural work, these changes rarely stick.
Our aim is to maximise performance to help clients achieve the next level of success through considered coaching, support, accountability and most importantly, celebrating your success!
